Abstract
The rapid expansion of artificial intelligence technologies in recent years has created widespread changes in labor markets and organizational environments. In addition to increasing productivity and improving work processes, the use of these technologies can also affect the skills, job roles, and well-being of employees. The aim of this research is to identify factors affecting the adoption of artificial intelligence with an emphasis on the development of skills and well-being of employees in labor markets. This research was conducted with a mixed approach. In the qualitative part, thematic analysis was used to identify the dimensions and components affecting the adoption of artificial intelligence based on the opinions of 12 experts and specialists in fields related to artificial intelligence, human resource management, and the labor market, who were selected using purposive sampling and conducted through semi-structured interviews. These findings showed that the factors affecting the adoption of artificial intelligence can be classified into three general categories: individual factors, organizational factors, and environmental and labor market factors. In the quantitative part, based on the initial model obtained from the qualitative stage, a questionnaire was developed and distributed among 384 people from the statistical population. In this stage, using the correlation research method and structural equation modeling (LISREL software), the relationships between the variables of the initial model and the degree of influence of each of them were examined. The resulting model was also fitted, validated, and tested. The results of the quantitative part showed that there are significant relationships between the identified dimensions and the acceptance of artificial intelligence, and each of the individual, organizational, and environmental factors directly affect the acceptance of this technology.
